In
this new project, Viviane
Arnoux and François
Michaud, the founders of MAM, are joined by the accordionist François
Parisi. This is their fifth album.
The encounter resulted from a common desire to combine the delicate and
generous musicality of jazz, of swing musette and of ethnic world music
with the freshness and originality of MAM.
The accordion expresses all its diversity and richness in the sophisticated
and splendid technique of François Parisi, a virtuoso of the famous
albums Paris Musette, and in the warm and melodious phrases of the a-typical
style of Viviane Arnoux.
The multifarious violin of François Michaud breaks into their conversation,
serves as an arbiter, makes his own point and gets carried away on their
fiery rhythms…
… And the exchanges between the three musicians impart an energy
and pleasure fully shared by the public.
